Launching of the web site www.army.lk/slawc was a Historical moment for the Sri Lanka army Womens Corps. The Commander of The Army Lieutenant General RMD Rathnayake WWV RWP RSP USP ndu psc was the Chief Guest of the event. Over 1000 Officers and Other Rankes were present at the occasion on 22nd November 2013 at Carry College Auditorium.
Souvenirs were presented by the Commander of the Army for the NOK$s of KIA of Sri Lanka Army Women$s Corps to commemorate their invaluable Sacrifice.
Commander of the Army addressed the gathering and signed the Visitors Book at Women$s Corps Regimental Head Quarters to Signifies this memorable event.
