THE FOUNDATION STONE FOR THE NEWLY PROPOSED LECTURE HALL AND ACCOMMADATION AREA FOR DRIVERS/CIVIL STAFF WORKING UNDER THE RC SLAWC WAS LAID BY COLONEL COMMANDANT OF THE SRI LANKA ARMY WOMEN'S CORPS

Under the directions and guidance of Major General Prasanna Gunaratne RSP ndu psc IG Commander Security Forces- East and the Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps the foundation stone of newly proposed lecture hall and accommodation area for drivers/civil staff serving under the regimental Centre was laid as an auspicious moment with the religious blessings on 13 February 2024 at the Regimental Centre premises in Borella.

The Centre Commandant, all senior officers, Commanding Officers of battalions, along with officers and ORs of RC SLAWC participated for this event.

Following the event, the Colonel Commandant graced the Regimental Council with the participation of council members of RC SLAWC.
