COLONEL COMMANDANT OF THE SLAWC MARKED HIS OFFICIAL VISIT TO 2(V)SLAWC - MADAWACHCHIYA

Major General Senaka Kasturimudali RSP ndc psc, General Officer Commanding of 56 Infantry Division and the Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps conducted an official visited the 2nd volunteer battalion Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps in Madawachchiya on 21th May 2024 during his official schedule.

Respective Commanding Officer of 2(v)SLAWC Maj MP SGM Premathilake SLAWC welcomed the visiting Colonel Commandant with the honour according to the military traditions and briefed the functioning of the battalion administratively.

Meantime, Major General Senaka Kasturimudali briefed his vision to the Commanding Officer and advice necessary instructions pertaining to the training, discipline, security concern and nations building for uplifting the battalion and maintaining the standard in all aspects.

Brigadier Rohan Jayakody, Centre Commandant SLAWC, Colonel (A), Grade I Staff Officers along with Grade II Staff Officers and Regimental Adjutant of RC SLAWC attended the visit.
