Maj Gen CD Ranasinghe RWP RSP Col Comdt of SLAWC paid his official visit to ITC - Minneriya and Sadunpura where women recruits are undergoing their basic recruit training while he visited 3 SLAWC and 5 SLAWC Battalions on 21st and 22nd November 2021.
During Col Comdt visits to the battalions, he was accorded with a drive past and he has participated for series of events including tree planting, Commanding Officers' briefings, troop addresses and camp visits.
Importantly during his visit to recruit training centers Col Comdt observed all shortfalls and requirements of recruits and took shift actions to fulfil those necessities. He addressed all recruits and instructional staff and personally interviewed few recruits and discussed their common issues. Further, he gave directions to the Chief Instructor and other officer instructors to overcome those common issues and enhance quality of training.
GSO 1, Vol Coord , SO 1 (A) of RHQ SLAWC were also participated for the visit.
