BADE FAREWELL TO RETIRED SENIOR OFFICERS OF SRI LANKA ARMY WOMEN’S CORPS

Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps (SLAWC) hosted a dinner on 05 July 2019 at the ‘Salute’ reception hall of Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment, Boyagane, to bid farewell to Major C Wijethilaka, Commanding Officer of 03rd (Volunteer) battalion of SLAWC, Major BHS Fernando, Commanding Officer of 5th (Volunteer) battalion of SLAWC and Major GP Galgamuwa, Commanding Officer of 6th (Volunteer) battalion of SLAWC, upon their retirement after completing 20 years of distinguished service in the Sri Lanka Army.

Major General M Mudannayake RSP USP Colonel Commandant of SLAWC presented the mementos to the retired senior lady Officers in appreciation of their noble service rendered to Sri Lanka Army.
