The 23rd anniversary of the Regimental Centre of Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps was celebrated with giving priority to religious observances on 16th and 17th November 2020.
Accordingly, a Bodhi Pooja was held at the Regimental Centre premises as a blessing to the all the members of the Sri Lanka Army who have sacrificed their lives and are serving on behalf of our country and also wished a speedy end to the COVID – 19 epidemic situation in the country.
On the 17th November 2020 alms giving ceremony was held for the monks of the Maha Vishuddharama Temple at Borella. The programme was conducted under the guidance of the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps Major General Priyantha Perera. The Centre Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps Brigadier Janaka Rathnayaka and 15 officers and other ranks were participated for the programme.
