The objectives of the School of EME are as appended below:
- Conduct comprehensive technical training to impart knowledge and skills of EME personnel and other army personnel by reviewing the course syllabuses annually with upgraded latest technology.
- Produce a disciplined self-motivated and effective skilled technical force to meet future technical demands and challenges of the Sri Lanka Army.
- Development leadership of tradesmen through relevant military training.
- Proactively develop and upgrade of training infrastructure of the school by continuous evaluation.
