The cogwheel in the middle of the logo symbolizes the mechanical nature. The electronic orbit around the cogwheel denotes the electronic connection. The electrical sign indicates the electrical connection. The shield which shows safety. The lamp represents a place where knowledge is shared. Two horses on either side of the shield demonstrates the horse power and the speed. signal red, oxford blue and golden yellow reflects the basic colors of the SLEME Regiment. "School of EME" is indicated in Sinhala script, "වියාඉ පාසල"
