  • National Vocational Training Excellence Awards - Sri Lanka 2020

    Taking another step ahead, the Ranaviru Resource Centre (RRC) has won the second place in the "National Vocational Training Excellence Awards - Sri Lanka 2020" under the category of Provincial Awards for the Best Medium Scale Public Sector Training Provider - Western Province, on 5th April 2021.

  • Lt Col JK Dissanayake – VIR assumed duties as the Senior Course Coordinating Officer at the RRC.

    Lt Col Jagath Dissanayake assumed office as the 5th SCCO of the Ranaviru Resource Centre – Wattala on 25 of March 2021 with a simple ceremony at his office of the RRC.

  • Opening Address was held 1st half of 2021 at RRC Auditorium

  • CENTRE EXCELLENCY INSPECTION CONDUCTED AT RRC ON 10TH FEBRUARY 2021

    The inspection was carried out by judge panel of VTA at RRC premises for selecting best centers among Gampaha divisions. They have inspected the class rooms, mandatory documents and interview books of instructors of VTA

  • RECRUITING PROGRAM FOR COURSES (VTA) 2021 – FIRST HALF

    Series of recruiting program has conducted starting from month of November 2020 at the RRC premises. With the special request of police headquarters final interview has been conducted for police personnel on 10th of Feb 2021 at RRC premises. Moreover, interview has been conducted by adopting health measurement of Army headquarters and health ministry.

  • CLOSING ADDRESS & TRADITIONAL TEA PARTY OF 2020 – 1 COURSES AT RRC

  • THE CHISTMAS PARTY HAS HELD AT THE OFFICERS’ MESS – RRC

    Realizing the true meaning of Christmas and bonding together to strength the brotherhood, the officers of the Directorate of Rehabilitation and RRC celebrated the Christmas at the Officers mess on 30th of December 2020 with the participation of the Director Rehabilitation Brig Shiran Abeysekera RSP USP Commandant of RRC, Brig Tanilka Perera and other Officers of both institute.

  • NEWLY CONSTRUCTED OFFICERS ACCOMMODATION OF RRC

    Newly constructed Officers accommodation of Ranaviru Resource Centre was declared open by Director Rehabilitation Brigadier Shiran Abeysekera RSP USP with the participation of the Commandant of RRC Brigadier Tanilka Perera and other distinguished guests on 03rd of December 2020. It’s an aggregated achievement of all officers of Dte Rehab, RRC & students of carpentry, aluminum course and work team of ESR

  • RECRUITING PROGRAM FOR COURSES (VTA) 2021 – FIRST HALF

    The Ranaviru Resource Centre has scheduled the recruiting programs to enroll new applicants for the courses in 2021 - First Half from 23rd to 26th of November 2020 at the Ranaviru Resource Centre. Significant number of applicants who differently- abled and abled from various regiments were appear for the interviews. Simultaneously we have allocated some vacancies for sister services along with Police and Civil Security Department to betterment for their carrier headway and to benefit for their postretirement life.

  • SPECIAL MASS AT SRI SIVASUBRAMANIYA KOVIL- WATTALA

    A Special mass was held at the sri Sivasubramaniya swamy kovil – wattala to bless the people who affected due to corona epidemic and for all the Sri Lankans on 15th of October 2020. The Commandant and other senior officers of the Ranaviru Resource Centre (RRC) have participated for the event. Further, Mrs P D T C Rajika - Assistant Government Agent (AGA), Officer in Charge of police station – Wattala and many other government officials were graced this special mass.
