Major General DG Hewage RSP the, General Officer Commanding of 61 division, made several visits to 612 Brigade and 20 SR, SLAPC units on the 25th of March 2021 before assuming his duties as the General Officer Commanding. He was warmly welcomed by the Brigade Commander, Commanding Officers, and All Ranks at their respective premises.
The General Officer Commanding addressed the staff of the Brigade and all Units and planted a tree to mark the visit. A tea party was also arranged.
