SLAPC Build New House For Soldier

A new house, concept of Commander of the Army and guidance in built with the Directorate of Veterans’ Affairs at the Army HQ under the Sri Lanka Army Pioneer Corps (SLAPC) was recently vested in a War Hero of the SLAPC. This welfare programme to financial support of the Directorate of Veterans’ Affairs at AHQ.

The recipient soldier private Rambanda BG currently serving at the Army Construction Site in Baththaramulla. This soldier is in the homeless father of four children. Built a new house to the value of about Rs 15 lakhs.

The new house in Sansungama, Kaudulla in Polonnaruwa was formally inaugurated and handed over to private Rambanda and his family during a simple ceremony on Wednesday (04) with the participation of Lieutenant Colonel SN Hettigoda, Maj KGA Raveendra second in Command, Sri Lanka Army Pioneer Corps, officers and troops held adhering to health guidelines. Ven. Induruwe Sumanarathana thero incumbent Senavirathnaramaya temple in Munamalwaththa join this event gifted to financial aids soldier Rambanda.
