Commanding Officer Col DLDD Jayasooriya handed over his duties as the Commanding Officer of 1 SLAPC on 05th of September 2020 after completing his tenure of more than two years as a Commanding Officer.
To mark the occasion, a series of events were organized by 1SLAPC officials and other ranks. Guard Turnout and Guard of honor were awarded by the 1st Battalion of Sri Lanka Army Pioneer Corps. Afterward, the outgoing Commanding Officer addressed the troops and followed them by an all ranks tea.
