1 CORPS RENOVATES KITCHEN AND CONSTRUCTS NEW RATIONS STORES AT KN/THIRUVALLUVAR PRIMARY SCHOOL

The 1 Corps renovated the kitchen and constructed new rations stores at Kn/Thiruvalluvar Primary School, built under the supervision of the Commander of 1 Corps, and was formally handed over to the school authorities on 14 December 2025. The construction was carried out with labour contributions provided by the Security Forces Engineering Office –1 Corps, together with troops of 1 Corps. This fulfilled the long-standing requirement for a much-needed warehouse at the school, and in appreciation of the construction of the warehouse, the Principal, Teaching Staff, and Parents of the School extended their heartfelt gratitude to the Sri Lanka Army.
