DISASTER RELIVING DUTIES

A Coordinating conference was held with the participation of the Puttalam District Secretary, the General Officer Commanding 58 Infantry Division, Major General AMA Abeyawardana WWV RWP RSP ndc, and other government representatives to formalize the relief measures for the residents of the areas affected by the sudden flood in the Puttalam area. Thereafter, the General Officer Commanding 58 Infantry Division, Major General AMA Abeyawardana WWV RWP RSP ndc, also undertook an observation tour of the area to ascertain the relief measures required for the victims of the area.
