OPENING ADDRESS OF SPECIAL INFANTRY OPERATION COURSE NO -78

The first stage (signal , medical and engineer stage ) of Special Operations Course No 78 commenced on 11 July 2025 at Headquarters 1 Corps, Kilinochchi. A 1x 8 team from 12th and 21st Battalions of the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment, 1st Battalion of the Gajaba Regiment and 5th Battalion of the Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment are following the course. Brigadier S.J. Kariyakarawana RWP RSP USP - Brigadier General Staff, Colonel R.R.K. Rajapakshe Udage - Colonel General Staff and other senior officers attended the occasion.
