Major General AMA Abeyawardana WWV RWP RSP ndc assumed duties as the 22nd General Officer Commanding of the 58 Infantry Division on 26 June 2025 amidst religious ceremony in accordance with Army traditions.

The Brigade Commanders, Commanding Officers of under command battalions, all Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks were participated to the event.
