Armsgiving for Nirmala Matha Elders' Home - Wanathawilluwa

According to a concept of the General Officer Commanding of the 58th Infantry Division for For the sake of remembrance of the soldiers who have sacrifice their lives for this mother nation, a community outreach program was conducted on 9 June 2025 at the Nirmala Matha Elders' Home in Wanathavilluwa, Puttalam. The program involved the donation of lunch, dry rations, and clothing to 18 elderly residents, in commemoration of fallen war heroes. Additionally, a calypso music session was organized with the aim of enhancing the psychological wellbeing of the residents and offering them a respite from their routine. The event was attended by the General Officer Commanding of the 58th Infantry Division, along with other senior officers, officers and other rankers. The program was successfully executed through the active participation and commitment of all involved parties of 58 infantry division.
