DISTRIBUTION OF SOLAR POWERED LIGHT SYSTEM FOR NEEDY FAMILIES IN PUTTALAM AREA

Anduren Eliyata - Solar Powered Light donation program conducted with the guidance of Major General HDWKN Eriyagama RWP RSP, General Officer Commanding 58 Division and donated by the Sri Lankan Community in Victoria and New South Wales. The programme was held on 29 December 2023 among the needy families living in Sinnavilluwatta of Puttalam District.

The project provided solar powered light to 65 families who do not have access to electricity while giving priority to families with schooling students. Major General HDWKN Eriyagama RWP RSP, General Officer Commanding 58 Division graced the occasion besides Mr Parakrama Giriyagama and Major Aruna Perera (Retired) representing the Sri Lankan Community of Victoria and New South Wales.
