BATTALION TRAINING SCHOOL - KATUKELIYAWA INAUGURATES FOR TRAINING.

Battalion Training School at Katukeliyawa was inaugurated by Major General HDWKN Eriyagama RWP RSP, General Officer Commanding-58 Infantry Division on 23 November 2023 with the instructions and the directions of Major General SB Amunugama RWP RSP ndu Commander-1 Corps for its under command battalions to conduct battalion training. Accordingly, the school was renovated under the supervision of 1 Corps and 58 Infantry Division. Commander 582 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier S W R Prasanna RWP RSP USP and the school chief instructor Lieutenant Colonel K N P Kalubowila were also participated to the event. After the charm ceremony held at the training school, 1 SLLI commenced its battalion training on the same day.
