TROOPS OF 583 INFANTRY BRIGADE ENGAGED IN A RESCUE MISION IN ANGURUWELA

Troops of 1 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment of the 583 Infantry Brigade had been engaged in day and night attempt to rescue people who had been buried due to collapse of a two-storied building at Thumbaliyadda in Anguruwela, from14 to 15 October 2022. Later troops recovered dead bodies of mother and the elder son of the family.
