Major General HMU Herath RWP RSP USP psc Hdmc assumed duties as the 29th General Officer Commanding of the 53 Infantry Division (RSF) on the 17 June 2022 during a formal military ceremony held at the 53 Infantry Division Headquarters in Habarana. A formal Guard Turnout and a Guard of the Honour was presented to the GOC at the 53 Infantry Division (RSF) main entrance by 3,8 and 22 Gajaba Regiment Troops.
