1 CORPS TROOPS LAUNCHES BOOSTER VACCINATION DRIVE CONSECUTIVE SECOND DAY

The 3 Gajaba Regiment troops, belongs to 53 Infantry Division, 1 Corps have contributed to the National Vaccination Drive Against COVID - 19 pandemic under the programme of “Vaccination Week” for the consecutive second day in an around Kilinochchi area, in coordination with the medical staff of Army Base Hospital Kilinochchi. Vaccination centres were established at Thiriviyaru and Army Base Hospital Iranamadu Kilinochchi. There were 156 (37 Army, 119 civil) persons were vaccinated. The ongoing vaccination drive contributes to the national vaccination drive in order to, achieve its desired objectives.
