VISIT OF COMMANDER 1 CORPS TO SPECIAL FORCE BRIGADE

Major General S B Amunugama RWP RSP ndu, fourth Commander of 1 Corps made his maiden visit to the Headquarters Special Force Brigade on 21 July 2023. He was presented a traditional Drive Pass and warmly welcomed to the Brigade Headquarters by the Commander Special Force Brigade, Brigadier Kamal Amarasinghe WWV RWP RSP who conducted a comprehensive briefing on the functions of Special Force Brigade.

Commander 1 Corps marked his visit to Special Force Brigade by planting a sapling at the Headquarters premises. Commander 1 Corps addressed the troops of the Special Force Brigade at Lecture Hall premises. Thereafter attended the lunch at the Officer’s Mess. Commander 1 Corps terminated the official visit by wishing Special Force Brigade and under-command troops all success in future endeavors.
