VISIT OF COMMANDER 1 CORPS TO SPECIAL FORCE BRIGADE

Major General Nishantha Manage WWV RWP RSP psc, Commander 1 Corps made his maiden visit to the Headquarters Special Force Brigade on 13 March 2023. He was presented a traditional Drive Pass and warmly welcomed to the Brigade Headquarters by the Commander Special Force Brigade, Brigadier Kamal Amarasinghe WWV RWP RSP who conducted a comprehensive briefing on the functions of Special Force Brigade.

Commander 1 Corps marked his visit to Special Force Brigade by planting a sapling at the Headquarters premises. Commander 1 Corps addressed the troops of the Special Force Brigade at Corporal Club premises. Thereafter attended for tea party at Officer’s Mess and shared his valuable experience with officers. Finally, Commander 1 Corps terminated the official visit by wishing Special Force Brigade and under command troops for all the success in future endeavours.
