THE VISIT OF COMMANDER 1 CORPS TO THE COMMANDO BRIGADE AND GRACE ON THE OCCASION OF THE GRADUATION CEREMONY

Major General S B Amunugama RWP RSP ndu, fourth Commander of 1 Corps made a formal visit to the Headquarters Commando Brigade on 28 July 2023. He was warmly welcomed to the Brigade Headquarters by the Commander Commando Brigade, Brigadier VMN Hettiarachchi RWP RSP who conducted a comprehensive briefing on the functions of the Commando Brigade. The Commanding officer of 4 CR was also briefed about their tasks. Thereafter the Commander 1 Corps attended to the sightseeing of 4 CR and K9 Group.

In addition to the above, Commander 1 Corps took part as the Chief Guest in the adorning of badges and the awarding of certificates ceremony of the Hostage Rescue & Counter Terrorist (HR & CT) Course No-31 and VVIP Protection Induction Course No- 6 which conducted by 4 Commando Regiment. As well as the Chief Guest addressed the all troops and appeared for the Group Photograph before terminating the visit.
