THE VISIT OF COMMANDER 1 CORPS TO THE AIR MOBILE BRIGADE AND 3 SLLI

Major General S B Amunugama RWP RSP ndu, fourth Commander of 1 Corps made his maiden visit to the Headquarters Air Mobile Brigade and 3 SLLI on 31 July 2023. He was warmly welcomed to the Brigade Headquarters by the Commander Air Mobile Brigade, Brigadier WGSM Perera RWP RSP USP and commanding officers of the under-command units. Commander Air Mobile Brigade conducted a comprehensive briefing on the functions of the Air Mobile Brigade.

During the visit, Commander 1 Corps planted a sapling at both Headquarters premises and addressed the troops of the Air Mobile Brigade at Headquarters 3 SLLI. Thereafter attended the lunch at the Officer’s Mess. Commander 1 Corps terminated the official visit by signing the visitor’s book and wishing Air Mobile Brigade and under-command troops all success in future endeavors.
