SUBMITTING OF PHOTOGRAPHS - ASSUMING DUTIES OF GENERAL OFFICER COMMANDING 53 INFANTRY DIVISION (RSF)

Maj Gen GAT Godewatte RWP RSP (0/62251) belongs to Gajaba Regiment assumed duties as the 33rd General Officer Commanding of the 53 Infantry Division (RSF) on 08 August 2025.

To welcome new GOC event featured a ceremonial Guard Turnout and awarded a Guard of Honor. Further, to mark the special occasion General Officer Commanding planted a Sandalwood sapling in front of the office premises and finally GOC addressed the all troops of 53 Infantry Division (RSF), including under command Brigades and Battalions.
