SPECIAL FORCES REGIMENT CELEBRATES ITS 25TH ANNIVERSARY

Special Forces Regiment celebrated its 25th anniversary with a series of events on 08 January 2022 at RHQ SF at Koholanwala, Naula. The ceremonial events of the anniversary commenced with the guard turnout and the guard of honor accorded to the chief Guest at the event, Commander 1 Corps and Colonel of the Regiment Special Forces Major General Harendra Ranasinghe RWP RSP ndc. Subsequently, the Chief Guest paid his tribute to fallen heroes by laying floral wreath at the monument located in 1 Special Forces Regiment. To the end of the events the Chief Guest attended to the all ranks tea and planted a mango sapling at the Headquarters premises to mark the 25th anniversary.
