SOORYA MANGALYA 2025 - 58 INFANTRY DIVISION HEADQUARTERS

As the concept of the General Officer Commanding 58 Infantry Division, Major General J K R Jayakody RWP USP, 58 Infantry Division held a traditional New Year celebration festival ‘Soorya Mangalya 2025’, on 08 April 2025 with the dawn of the Sinhala and Hindu New Year at the 58 Infantry Division playground in Sinnawilluwatta, Puttalam by giving priority to traditional games and cultural rituals with the participation of Brigade Commanders under command to the 58 Infantry Division, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks of 58 Infantry Division and their family members. Major General J K R Jayakody RWP USP, General Officer Commanding 58 Infantry Division graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
