OFFICIAL VISIT OF GENERAL OFFICER COMMANDING - 58 INFANTRY DIVISION TO THE 583 INFANTRY BRIGADE

Major General PKWWMJSBW Pallekumbura RWP RSP ndu psc, the newly appointed GOC - 58 Inf Div, conducted his official visit to the 583 Infantry Brigade on 16 May 2025. The visit marked a significant moment, emphasizing leadership engagement and operational readiness within the formation

The itinerary commenced with a formal drive pass, followed by a comprehensive briefing by the Brigade Commander. Following the briefing, group photograph was taken to commemorate the occasion. After the GOC addressed the officers and soldiers, emphasizing professionalism, discipline, and dedication. An All Ranks tea session provided an opportunity for interaction with troops.

The visit concluded with a lunch held at the Officers’ Mess, further strengthening camaraderie among the leadership and officers. Before departing, GOC - 58 Inf Div signed the Visitors' Book, leaving his remarks and best wishes for the continued success of the brigade.
