OFFICIAL VISIT OF GENERAL OFFICER COMMANDING - 58 INFANTRY DIVISION TO THE 582 INFANTRY BRIGADE
Major General PKWWMJSBW Pallekubura RWP RSP ndu psc the newly appointed General Officer Commanding of the 58 Infantry Division, paid his official visit to the 582 Infantry Brigade Headquarters deployed at Ellakandawaththa, Horana on 02 May 2025.
Upon his arrival, the Commander of the 582 Infantry Brigade Brigadier LD Perera RWP RSP USP warmly welcome to the General Officer Commanding honored him in a Drive Pass by 21st Battalion Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment troops at the Brigade entrance. During the visit the General Officer Commanding plantedsapling in the compound, pose for a group photograph with Brigade staff and Commanding officers. After that, the Commander 582 Infantry Brigade briefed the roles, tasks and duties performed by the 582 Infantry Brigade and under command Battalions.
Meanwhile, the General Officer Commanding address all troops of 582 infantry brigade, 1st Battalion Sri lanka Light Infantry and 21st Battalion Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment. After the conclusion of visit the General Officer Commanding participated for officer’s mess lunch.
