OFFICIAL VISIT TO 12 BATTALION SRI LANKA SINHA REGIMENT

Brigadier W.A.J. Hemachandra RSP, psc, Hdmc, the Commander of the Airmobile Brigade, paid his first official visit to the 12th Battalion Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment Meethotamulla Camp on 21 May 2025.

Upon arrival, the Brigade Commander was warmly welcomed by the Commanding Officer and all Officers of the 12th Battalion Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment. He was then accompanied around the camp premises to inspect the facilities provided for the troops.

A comprehensive briefing on the battalion’s operational and administrative matters was conducted by the Commanding Officer. The visit concluded with a formal lunch shared with all Officers of the 12th Battalion Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment, marking the end of a successful official visit.
