A NEW MUSEUM AT HQ 1 CORPS PREMISES

A museum has instigated to the preservation of past memories of Security Forces (KLN) and displaying of significant substances of long-term interest with an added value. Major General Harendra Ranasinghe RWP RSP ndc, the Commander of 1 Corps has graced the occasion and declared open this dwelling on 01 December 2021 with the presence of senior officers, officers and Other ranks of 1 Corps.

The event was perceptible with unveiling a plaque followed by other customary inauguration formalities. After suppressing of SF HQ (KLN), this memories shows the untiring efforts and the tremendous dedication of service rendered by former Commanders and the Staff who have served this institution during last decade. The state-of-the-art and the constructions were done by the troops of 9 Fd Sri Lanka Engineers and 11 Corps of Engineer Services Regiment with the support and guidance by the Officers and ORs of 1 Corps.

All Officers, Including BAQ, Col GS, Col Coord were participated the event with adhering to existing health protocols.
