NEW COMMANDANT OF THE AIRMOBILE TRAINING SCHOOL BEGINS DUTIES

After Re-establishment of the Airmobile Training School under command to the 53 Infantry Division in Kebitigollewa, Nikawewa on 01st May 2018, Lieutenant Colonel IADRP Gunathilake RWP USP assumed duties as the 3rd Commandant of the Airmobile Training School on 23rd March 2023. A formal Guard Turnout was presented to the newly appointed Commandant at the main entrance of Airmobile Training School by 3 Gajaba Regiment troops.

Amidst ‘Pirith Chanting’, the new Commandant placed his signature in an official document to signify the acceptance of his new appointment. Officers and All Ranks of the Airmobile Training School extended their wishes to newly appointed Commandant on the assumption of duties of the new appointment.
