NEW COMMANDANT OF AIRMOBILE TRAINING SCHOOL ASSUMES DUTIES

Lieutenant Colonel DMCL Dissanayake RWP RSP officially assumed duties as the Commandant of the Airmobile Training School on 01 January 2025, during a brief ceremony.

The newly appointed Commandant was warmly welcomed by the Chief Instructor and accorded a Guard Turnout in keeping with military traditions. He then symbolically assumed duties amidst religious observances.

Subsequently, setting out his scope of work and duties, planted a sapling in the camp premises and addressed the troops as a formality.

The event concluded with an All-Ranks tea and a lunch hosted at the Officers' Mess. Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks participated in the event.
