NEW BRIGADIER GENERAL STAFF 1 CORPS ASSUMES OFFICE

Brigadier SJ Kariyakarawana RWP RSP USP assumed duties as the 7th Brigadier General Staff of Headquarters 1 Corps on 04 March 2025. Amidst religious blessings new Brigadier General Staff placed his signature in an official document to signify the acceptance of his new appointment.

Senior officers and officers of the Headquarters 1 Corps extended their wishes to the newly appointed Brigadier General Staff on the assumption of the duties of the new appointment.

Brigadier SJ Kariyakarawana RWP RSP USP held the appointment of Director Infantry Army Headquarters, prior to his new appointment. Soon after assumption of duties, Brigadier General Staff addressed to the Officers and members of the staff.
