NEW BRIGADE COMMANDER ASSUMES OFFICE AT 581 INFANTRY BRIGADE

Colonel EWMWKB Abeyratne RWP RSP USP psc officially assumed duties as the 10th Brigade Commander of the 581 Infantry Brigade. A brief ceremony held at the Headquarters of the 581 Infantry Brigade, Bellagaswewa on 04 December 2024. The event commenced with welcoming the Brigade Commander by the brigade staff and the formalities followed by a religious observance, officially signing a document at an auspicious time, planting of a sapling at the brigade premises as a symbolic gesture and addressing all the Officers and Other Ranks. The event concluded with an All Ranks tea.
