ISLAND WIDE COSTAL CLEANING CAMPAIGN BY THE SRI LANKA ARMY

The Sri Lanka Army, in collaboration with the clean Sri Lanka Task force, launched an island wide costal cleaning campaign under the theme “A cleaner Environment with the Army – A clean cost line for the Nation” on 29 July 2025.

Accordingly, troops belongs to the under this headquarter (1 SLLI, 19 SLLI, 21 SR, 3 GR, 1 VIR, 5 VIR, 3 CR, 2 SF and 4 SF) were attached to SF HQ (Wanni), SF HQ (E), SF HQ (W) and SF HQ (Central) and contributed to the beach cleaning campaign under clean Sri Lanka project.
