INSTRUCTOR TRAINING PROGRAMME AT 58 INFANTRY DIVISION

With the guidance of Commander,1 Corps, Major General Harendra Ranasinghe RWP RSP ndc the and under the supervision of Major General Rohitha Aluvihare RWP RSP ndu psc, General Officer Commander 58 Infantry Division, Refresher Course to develop skillful and knowledgeable team of Battalion Training Instructor’s for Advance Infantry Training School of 58 Infantry Division was commenced on 1 December 2021 at 58 Infantry Division Headquarters – Puttalam.

The course curriculum has planned to mould specialized advance infantry instructors with the assistance of the well-trained team of Officers & Other Rank instructors from Sri Lanka Army Special Forces. Opening address was delivered by Brigadier Sanka Jayamaha RWP RSP USP of Commander 583 Infantry Brigade, on behalf of the General Officer Commander - 58 Infantry Division. 3x47 instructors from under command battalions of 58 Infantry Division are participating for this course and which will be terminating on 23 December 2021.
