GLITTERING POP AT AIRMOBILE TRAINING SCHOOL

The Airmobile Training School -Nikawewa, gifted 05 Officers and 127 other ranks to the Sri Lanka Army after completing the Air Assault Course - No 26 on 20 Aug 2023.

Major General S B Amunugama RWP RSP ndu - Commander 1 Corps added dignity and prominence to the Passing out Parade as the Chief Guest at the invitation of the Commandant, Airmobile Training School - Lt Col Gunathilaka RWP USP.

Major General PGPS Rathnayaka RWP RSP ndc, General Officer Commanding - 53 Infantry Division (RSF), Brigadier RWK Hewage RWP RSP Deputy General Officer Commanding - 53 Infantry Division, Brigadier RP Munipura RWP RSP – BGS 1 Corps, Brigader AGSM Perera RWP RSP USP - Commander Airmobile Brigade, Brigadier WMN Hettiarachi RWP RSP - Commander CDO Brigade, Brigadier MPKL Amarsingha RWP RSP - Commander SF Brigade and Col AMSDB Adikari RSP - Commander 533 Brigade witnessed the occasion.

Maj KGJ Karunarathna 1 VIR was awarded the Best Student and best shooter award. While L/Cpl Atthanayake AMJS 3 SLLI was awarded as the fittest solder, all awards were received from the Chief Guest of the event Major General S B Amunugama RWP RSP ndu - Commander 1 Corps.
