GENERAL OFFICER COMMANDING OF 53 INFANTRY DIVISION PAYS OFFICIAL VISIT TO AIRMOBILE TRAINING SCHOOL

Major General KHMS Wickramaratne RSP, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 53 Infantry Division, undertook an official visit to the Airmobile Training School, Nikawewa on 28th Jan 2025, following his assumption of duties.

Upon his arrival, the GOC was warmly welcomed by Major HMTH Lakmal, Chief Instructor of the Airmobile Training School. The visit encompassed a comprehensive briefing on ongoing training programs, a symbolic tree planting ceremony, an inspection of the camp facilities and an evaluation of the training area to assess the standards and effectiveness of the training.
