DISASTER RELIEF OPERATION CONDUCTED BY 9TH BATTALION THE GAMUNU WATCH AT MILLANIYA, HORANA

Under the guidance of Commander 1 Corps, Major General SB Amunugama RWP RSP ndu and the General Officer Commanding of 58 Infantry Division, Major General CA Rajapaksha RSP, according to the instructions given by the Commander 582 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier MLDS Molligoda USP psc, troops of 9th Battalion the Gemunu Watch under 582 Infantry Brigade attended for the Disaster Rescue Operation at General area Millaniya, Horana.

During said operation 9 GW troops are assisted displaced persons living at Millaniya area. Accordingly, 9 GW troops distributed dry ration to affected persons by utilizing a boat.
