COMMANDER 1 CORPS MAKES FAMILIARIZATION VISIT TO 58 INFANTRY DIVISION (RSF)

The 58 Infantry Division (Reserve Strike Force) Headquarters was visited by the Commander 1 Corps, Major General Nishantha Manage WWV RWP RSP psc on 11 March 2023. The 58 Infantry Division Headquarters adorned ceremonial garbs to welcome visiting Commander 1 Corps and granted a drive pass at the main entrance. Major General Wipula Ihalage RWP RSP psc ptsc, the General Officer Commanding of 58 Infantry Division welcomed the Commander to 58 Infantry Division with participation of Brigade Commanders, Divisional Staff, and Commanding Officers.

Colonel (Coord), 58 Infantry Division recalled the memories of Commander 1 Corps and Commander 1 Corps was invited to addressed the troops of 58 Infantry Division. Then the General Officer Commanding of 58 Infantry Division presented the memento to mark the visit of the Commander 1 Corps and was invited for the all rank tea. Thereafter Commander 1 Corps signed the visitors’ book prior to terminate the official visit.
