COMMANDER 1 CORPS MAKES A FAMILIARIZATION VISIT TO 53 INFANTRY DIVISION (RSF)

Major General S B Amunugama RWP RSP ndu the fourth Commander of 1 Corps marked his maiden visit to the 53 Infantry Division (RSF) on 14 July 2023. During the visit, a formal military ceremony was held at the 53 Infantry Division Headquarters, Habarana. The General Officer Commanding - 53 Infantry Division Major General PGPS Rathnayaka RWP RSP ndc welcomed the Commander 1 Corps with the participation of the Deputy General Officer Commanding, Brigade Commanders, Divisional Staff and Commanding Officers.

The Commander 1 Corps addressed the troops of the 53 Infantry Division and shared his valuable experiences with the Officers during his visit. Finally, the Commander 1 Corps signed the visitors’ book to remark on his visit. The Commander 1 Corps terminated the official visit by wishing 53 Infantry Division and under Command troops all success in future endeavors.
