ASSUMING DUTIES OF GENERAL OFFICER COMMANDING 53 INFANTRY DIVISION (RSF)

Major General KHMS Wickrmarathna RSP belongs to Commando Regiment assumed duties as the 32 General Officer Commanding of the 53 Infantry Division (RSF) on 14th July 2024.

To welcome new GOC event featured a ceremonial Guard Turnout and awarded a Guard of Honor. Further, to make the special occasion General Officer Commanding planted a Sandalwood sapling in front of the office premises and finally GOC addressed the all troops of 53 Infantry Division (RSF), including command Brigades and Battalion.
