THE 581 INFANTRY BRIGADE COMMEMORATES ITS 10TH ANNIVERSARY

The 581 Infantry Brigade commemorated its 10th anniversary on 03 March 2025 at the brigade premises in Bellagaswewa, Ambalantota. To celebrate this milestone a series of events were organised by the brigade, which includes planting of coconut saplings at the brigade construction site, cricket tournament and a Bodhi Pooja ceremony. On this significant day the Brigade Commander was accorded a drive pass at the main entrance followed by the flag hosting, troop address, group photograph, all ranks tea, all ranks lunch and the opening of the newly installed water supply line by the National Water Supply & Drainage Board of the brigade. All these events embodied the pride and camaraderie of the brigade in marking its 10-year journey.
