58 INFANTRY DIVISIONAL TROOPS LAUNCHES BOOSTER VACCINATION DRIVE CONSECUTIVE SIXTH DAY

The 58 Infantry Division troops are contributed to the National Vaccination Drive Against COVID - 19 pandemic under the programme of “Vaccination Week” for the consecutive sixth day in an around where the divisional troops are being deployed. troops of 581, 582 and 583 Infantry Brigades have conducted the programme in coordination with Regional Health Service officers. Vaccination centers were established at Kothmale (581 Infantry Brigade - 32 were vaccinated), Municipal Council, Haputale (581 Infantry Brigade - 558 were vaccinated), Pothupitiya Pujaramaya Temple , Wadduwa (582 Infantry Brigade - 470 were vaccinated), Sri Wishuddaramaya, Walallawita (582 Infantry Brigade - 384 were vaccinated), Sri Sunandharamaya Viharaya, Karapitiya, Galle (582 Infantry Brigade - 396 were vaccinated), MAGA Kurunegala (583 Infantry Brigade - 602 were vaccinated), Brandix Garment, Rideegama (583 Infantry Brigade - 380 were vaccinated), Hela Garment, Mawathagama (583 Infantry Brigade - 270 were vaccinated), CEB Kurunegala (583 Infantry Brigade - 60 were vaccinated), Sohonkalma Primary School, Mahakumbukkadawala (583 Infantry Brigade - 20 were vaccinated), Sri Bodhirajaramaya Wadaththa (583 Infantry Brigade - 244 were vaccinated) areas. The ongoing vaccination drive contributes to the national vaccination drive in order to, achieve its desired objectives.
