58 INFANTRY DIVISIONAL TROOPS LAUNCHES BOOSTER VACCINATION DRIVE CONSECUTIVE NINTH DAY

The 58 Infantry Division troops are contributed to the National Vaccination Drive Against COVID - 19 pandemic under the programme of “Vaccination Week” for the consecutive ninth day in an around where the divisional troops are being deployed. Troops of 582 and 583 Infantry Brigades in coordination with regional health service officers. Vaccination centers were established at Dammananda Vidiyalaya Monthuduwa, Wadduwa (582 Infantry Brigade - 1142 were vaccinated), Divisional Secretariat Baduraliya (582 Infantry Brigade - 228 were vaccinated), Giriulla Town Hall (583 Infantry Brigade - 372 were vaccinated), Welpalla Maha Vidiyalaya Welpalla, Pannala (583 Infantry Brigade - 552 were vaccinated) areas. The ongoing vaccination drive contributes to the national vaccination drive in order to, achieve its desired objectives.
