58 INFANTRY DIVISIONAL TROOPS LAUNCHES BOOSTER VACCINATION DRIVE CONSECUTIVE FOURTH DAY

The 58 Infantry Division troops are contributed to the National Vaccination Drive Against COVID - 19 pandemic under the programme of “Vaccination Week” for the consecutive fourth day in an around where the divisional troops are being deployed. troops of 581, 582 and 583 Infantry Brigades, have conducted the programme in coordination with Regional Health Service officers. Vaccination centers were established at Strathdon State (581 Infantry Brigade - 432 were vaccinated), Tamil School Kotagala (581 Infantry Brigade - 1320 were vaccinated), Dambethenna (581 Infantry Brigade - 282 were vaccinated), Municiple Council Haputhale (581 Infantry Brigade - 186 were vaccinated), Merbok MDF Lanka Factory (582 Infantry Brigade - 217 were vaccinated), Paraduwa Temple Wadduwa (1SLLI - 130 were vaccinated), Ferentino Tyre Centre (582 Infantry Brigade - 177 were vaccinated), Piramal Glass factory (582 Infantry Brigade - 46 were vaccinated), Anamaduwa Clinic Center (583 Infantry Brigade - 600 were vaccinated), Wanduragala Temple (583 Infantry Brigade - 86 were vaccinated) areas. The ongoing vaccination drive contributes to the national vaccination drive in order to, achieve its desired objectives.
