58 INFANTRY DIVISION MARKS 16th ANNIVERSARY

The 58 Infantry Division commemorated its 16 Anniversary amidst religious and military formalities under the guidance of Major General A M A Abeyawardana WWV RWP RSP ndc, General Officer Commanding 58 Infantry Division, at the Division Headquarters on 02 July 2025.

In accordance with military traditions, the General Officer Commanding was accorded a Guard Turnout.

The celebrations concluded with an All-Ranks lunch. Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks and Civil Servant participated to the Anniversary celebrations.

In line with Anniversary celebrations, alms giving for shalom children’s home and Bodhi Pooja programme was conducted by the division.
